The laser uses two wavelengths for hair removal, namely the Alexandrite 755 nm and the Nd:Yag 1064 nm. The 755nm wavelength is ideal for safely treating light skin types and the 1064nm wavelength is ideal for safely treating darker skin types.

Our Lutronic Clarity 2 laser hair removal uses targeted laser energy to heat and selectively damage hair follicles. This inhibits hair growth without damaging the surrounding skin. The Lutronic Clarity 2 offers fast and comfortable treatment. The laser uses a constant flow of cold air to keep the skin cool during the treatment. This makes the treatment a lot more pleasant and virtually painless in some areas! The number of treatments required depends on the area to be treated and the hair type. In general, 6 to 8 treatments are required to achieve the desired result.

Our laser
The Lutronic Clarity II is a medical laser that may only be used by skin therapists and doctors. The laser contains an Alexandrite and a Nd:Yag wavelength and works as a Single Fiber laser. This means that this laser has no energy loss and is therefore up to 45% stronger than the classic lasers. The treatment is up to 5x faster compared to an IPL treatment and up to 2x faster than other fiber lasers due to the larger spot sizes. The treatment is also safer, because the Clarity II has a built-in temperature measurement.

During the intake, the hairs are assessed, you will receive an explanation about the treatment and it will be discussed whether the treatment is suitable for you and how many treatments are needed on average. It is therefore important that you do not shave your hair before the intake interview. If you want to feel what laser treatment feels like after the conversation? Then we can do a test shot. Here we treat 1 armpit.
If everything is in order and you agree with the treatment plan, we can start the treatment process.

INTAKE + TEST SHOT
Shave the areas to be treated 24 hours prior to treatment. You also make sure that the areas to be treated are free of deodorant, make-up and body lotions. We start the treatment by marking the areas to be treated. The skin therapist then starts delivering 3 pulses. After this we stop for a moment to observe the skin reaction and to ask how it is going. If everything is in order, the treatment will be resumed. During the treatment you feel heat and cold at the same time, because the LC2 cools the skin every pulse by means of a constant flow of cold air. The feeling can be compared to a pinprick.

THE TREATMENT
Your skin may look red and/or swollen immediately after treatment. This generally disappears within 24 hours. The skin therapist will give you the necessary aftercare advice after the treatment.
